Here's a simple recipe of Chickpea Broth, which can be made at home.

1 ½ cup chickpeas, 6 cups of water, 1 large onion, 3 garlic cloves, 1 inch ginger, 1 inch cinnamon stick, 1 star anise and 3 cloves. 2 carrots, 1 cup broccoli, 1 tomato, chopped, 2 celery stalks, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 bay leaf, 4-5 curry leaves, salt and pepper to taste, 2 tbsp olive oil.

To begin with this easy recipe, wash and soak the chickpeas overnight with a dash of salt.

Next, take a pressure cooker and add in chickpeas followed by water, cinnamon stick, star anise, garlic, ginger and cloves. Cover the lid and wait for 3-4 whistles.
